dual->single airbag conversion Posted by henry helfman [Email] (#787) [Profile/Gallery] (more from henry helfman) on Tue, 22 Nov 2005 12:24:49 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I know the topic of replacing a passenger airbag with a glovebox from an older car has been covered several times before and I've read mark's writup post describing the process of removing a passenger airbag but what about keeping the driver's side unit in op? I'd like to do it on my '95 aero but dont want to lose that one (i rarely have passengers)
I'd just like to know what's necessary to do so I dont set an SRS code, yet can still expect the DS bag to deploy if need be.
Remove or jump PS wiring from SRS module?
reprogam ECU?
both?
