Wheel bolt length

1996 9000 Aero. Stock wheel bolts allow about 20mm behind wheel to mount to hub. Wheels I'd like to install require 5mm spacers cutting this down to 15mm. Is this long enough???
Stock wheel bolts have a 28mm length shank. I have yet to locate anything except a 35mm length shank to add length. Would this be too long???
