Couple of small issues: Shame you disconnected the Evaporator. Now there will be an 'extra' step in resurrecting the . Seriously suggest 'Duracool' as a reasonable way to get the AC up and running, even better than when it was new. It works! 'as advertised' Seriously.. it's true, no exaggeration I just did this. You will need a can of Duradry (because you 'opened the system to atmosphere) and 2 cans of Duracool refrigerant plus the install hose/gauge. Approx $60/75 for the complete setup. There is also a v good toll free tech line for us 'cautious' types :-)
Main harness didn't need to come off on my 97, nor did the wipers as was necessary on the 86 / 90 models.
In truth though once my core was in and hoses connected, I reassembled everything without a second thought. Trusting to previous experience that it was all good. Fortunately it was .
