Thanks for the warning and sharing your experience. We DIY'ers frequently go overboard. I have some scar tissues to show too.
Cylinder #4 is the easy-access one, on the driver's side. Will attempt, when I have gathered enough courage, to do just one, the upper one.
Appreciate your comments on the stud length. Based on it, I may just use a short bolt with a locking washer. Being easy to reach, I can check its tightness frequently.
