I was about to drive off yesterday and when I looked in my right side-view mirror I saw that the glass had gone crooked. Upon closer examination it was revealed that I had been lucky to notice this because apparently the previous owner had somehow bonded a 2nd mirror glass to the (no longer reflective) useless original one. So I put it in the car pending re-attachment...and that is what I hope someone will help me with: What is the best glue/adhesive for mounting this mirror's backside to the old mirror's glass ? I immediately considered super glue, but then I thought it might come unbonded with all the cold/wet it'll be exposed to. Please educate me ? Thanks ! mark Posts in this Thread:
