Vibrations and Wandering
Posted by AndyRobertson (more from AndyRobertson) on Tue, 15 Mar 2011 16:04:38

Hey all...my 9k 96 is doing some strange stuff thats hard for me to pinpoint. Haven't got under the car yet cause its still a bit wet out. The main problem is the car pulls to the right. Especially from a stop but not all the time. Sometimes pulls to the left, sometimes doesn't. I figured I needed an alignment (and I did) Also got the tires re-balanced. Same problem. Whats also strange is a pulsing vibration at higher speeds +75. Occurs maybe every 3 seconds. Not apparent at lower speeds. As far as the pulling, I figured maybe sticky caliper? But did the heat check and all 4 were equal. For the vibration I would assume it would be equal vibration all the time, and not a pulse.

Any ideas? Ball Joints, C-Arm bushings, struts, all new. SAS bars as well. No major potholes or curbs or anything. Even still would assume that would show up during balancing if the wheel was bent. Think I have one problem or two?

Thanks
Andy
