Got more than 400k miles out of my clutch, and that with lots of shifting on lots of congested highways. Like RayF says, shifting like an on-off switch. The clutch is either in or out... no in-betweens. These cars have great pick-up, easy acceleration, so that helps. I did take it off once, but it looked pretty good, so I put it back on. Besides, I had the wrong pressure plate, so it wouldn't have fit. The flywheel was perfectly flat and looked like a bronze mirror.
