Aero dead, alive, now dead
Posted by Ironjoe2 (more from Ironjoe2) on Sat, 7 Jan 2012 21:12:55

After the Sherlock movie my 93 Aero would not start. Turned over real slow. The volts got so low the clock reset. Waited a few minutes then started and drove home. The next morning, started right up. Charged the battery, and checked alternator and wire connections. All looked ok, and the car ran great. One funny thing, the heater would not blow warm air, even on high? Next day, started and moved the car over in the drive, no problem. Then decided to check the voltage, and no start. It tried to start, and would go a little with my foot pressed to the floor. Swapped the DIC with known good ones, no luck. Any thoughts where I should check next? I do smell gas, like flooded. How do I check the spark? Thanks in advance!
