My first question is: what parts were changed when the clutch was replaced.
Was the slave replaced with a SAAB part or was it aftermarket?
Was the master changed at the same time?
Has the pressure hose from the master ever been changed?
Has the feed tube going to the master ever been changed?
It could be air in the lines from when it was changed or you could have an issue with any of the parts above.
How many miles have been put on since the clutch job?
Having a low pedal at start up that gets better with heat points to air in the line.
MY 1990 9K'S had the same issue when NEW [8,000 MILES].The dealer changed the master, no change. Then they changed the slave, and still the same issue.
It was better but "not right",i drove the car for another 3000 miles and it
improved with time as the clutch wore in and the weather got warmer.
