And it is kinda jerry rigged actually. (not OEM) Probably the culprit... My guess is that the dipstick is reaching farther than it normally would giving me a false full level.
All I know is that after adding a bit it quieted down a lot so I'm going to go with it. I had been filling to M or A on MAX this summer now that I think about it with minimal valve noise...
