I've waited until nice warm weather to attack this. I can't open from outside nor inside. I've gotten the inside trim off with it closed ( I'd never had the seat bottom forward/up in 13 years of owning this car!) and watched the actuator work back and forth with the central door locks....sprayed the bejesus out of the latch mechanisms with wd-40 and PB blaster.
And this car has been garaged for its life here in the snowbelt!
Anyway, I will let it sit overnight and wait for the cognoscenti here to offer solutions/condolences, before I try to force it some more tomorrow. I'm trying to think of some way to apply mechanical leverage advantage to it as well....
