Ray I used your guide for how to replace pivot fasteners with nylock nuts and a homemade bushing and was pleased with the results. I know what you mean about maybe replacing them with the factory part someday - but for a free fix using hardware from around the house - and one that increases my door use from three to four - well... thanks for the tip.
