The hole is about 2" long and 1/2" wide, just in front of the drain plug. It might be able to be patched, but I'll need a second opinion for that. I'm going to see how much my local indie will charge to swap the pan out if I can source a replacement pan.

The car has had a good run at 220k miles. After the pan is installed, I'll make an engine diagnosis. Regardless of the outcome, I'll be selling the car. It's time to move on.
