A little more diagnostic info. When you start the car, does the ABS light come on briefly, go out, and then come back on when you start moving? Or is it on when you start the car, and stays on? The difference points to the type of fault.
If the ABS light comes on and stays on, even without the car moving, the ABS system is failing the start-up check. The most common reason is one bad sensor. If you check the sensor resistances as described in my other post, one probably will be out of whack with the other three. I'd place my bets on one of the front sensors if that is the case because the front sensor cables are subject to a lot more movement.
If the light goes out, but comes on shortly after the car is moving, the problem is probably gunk buildup in one (or more) of the sensor wheels on a hub.
You can reboot the ABS controller without turning off the engine. While the engine is running you can turn the ignition key to "start" position for a second and let it return to "run." Don't worry about grinding the starter- there is a safety latch which prevents the it from engaging more than once at a time every run cycle. I learned this trick from a post by Henry Helfman, and it works.
None of the steps in this post or my previous post will delete the code in the ABS sensor, so you can do all these things and still take it to someone with an ISAT or Tech 2. If you suspect the ABS unit has a false code and you want to clear the code, then pull the 10 amp fuse in the ABS fuse box that is located under the hood.
