I had a chance to pull the harmonica connector on the ABS computer and test the resistance across the terminals of the cable connector. Both fronts read fine at about 1175 ohms. Both rears read as an open circuit. I didn't have a chance to go any farther because it got dark and the skeeters drove me indoors. I need to do a quick visual to make sure I don't have some broken wires.
I also looked at the brake fluid reservoir. On the lid there is a 2-wire plug. I always assumed that was for the brake fluid level switch. Does a '97 have a readout for "low brake fluid level" or does it just turn on the ABS light? Since my ABS light is always on, I guess I won't get a low level warning.
