I've looked online without success for Axxis Deluxe Advanced for a Saab 9000. The Axxis web site has a list of retailers, most of who don't list anything from Axxis when you do a search for Saab 9000 pads. I can't even find Axxis Ceramic part numbers for the 9000.
Also, I've seen at Saabnet mixed comments about whether Axxis Ceramics are dusty. I don't know whether that is because there are differing perceptions about dust or if there have been variations in the product over the years or if there are differences in rotors that can make the same pad minimally dusty in one person's experience and extremely dusty in another person's experience.
I have see more consistently favorable comments about the Porterfield R4-S, and it is easier to find online. Akebono ceramic pads for the rear are also easy to find online and get favorable comments.
My guess is that I will be happy with either pad in the rear. But I'm a brake newbie and don't know whether having different brands at front and rear is a no-no or just a matter of personal preference.
