In addition to what Dick first suggested about checking gas tank strap, other gas line leaks...
Take off your DI cassette, take out the plugs and peek in the cylinders. I had a problem with stuck injectors that dumped a whole bunch of gas in there. The car would run but would quit until it had sat for a while, probably leaked down into the oil.
I don't know if you can account for 1/4 tank of gas, but there was a couple inches in one cylinder on mine.
Take out the floor cover in the hatch/trunk and look at the top of the fuel pump, gas tank. I had a leak here once that was difficult to find because it leaked over the top of the gas tank and evaporated before it hit the floor. My fuel pump ring had come loose so the problem was worse when I near near full not empty like yours though.
