My next project with my 97 9000CS is to quiet down my sunroof, eliminate rattles and grease cable, etc. Turns out am missing a couple screws so went to junkyard and found a dead 9000 with a closed sunroof. This jkyard 9000 has no engine-transm and the fuse panel is laying on the passenger floor. Anyone got an idea how to control/open the sunroof? Am thinking of bringing a car battery into jkyard and connecting to approp fuse? Smaller battery work? Guess I would need say 20 feet of wire, 12 gage? Should I definitely replace the 17 year old seal around periphery of the sunroof - car has lived outside most of its life? Don't really need how to info on removal of roof as the archives have great info.
