Regarding high beams

So awhile back I asked about my high beams not reliably going on or off and was advised to reflow the solder. Today I had some time to finially tackle this issue and took the relays out (larger red one and the smaller orange one), popped the cover off and had a look at em. Both looked OK to me, I'm certainly not an expert though and honestly I'm not really sure what a solder starved connection would look like, and thought I'd pop em both back in sans their protective shells to see if I could see or hear anything. Both seemed to work flawlessly.
So I popped the shells back on and went for a drive. High beams worked evertime , no issues what so ever. Till I backed into the garage and gave it one last flick, high beams turned on but wouldn't turn back off. Left the car running and popped the hood. It appeared the both high and low beams where on and the larger red relay was really hot. I jiggled the relays and flicked the stock, back to normal. Went for another short drive, performed flawlessly.
Thoughts?
