Oh yeah that makes sense.
So trying to find a good local machine shop to clean up a good used head.
Couple places are talking about cutting valves and it's a dohc and an all day job and hundreds of dollars.
Leaning towards going to a local NAPA with machine shop services. We are thinking ask to only replace valve seals and plAne the mating surface. Also drill out one broken stud.
Seems like this should be sufficient? Assuming head flatness is within tolerance, which i believe it is.
