Lots of doors there, for sure. I don't know what I'm going to do until the adjuster comes out and looks at the car. No question as to the "total" in terms of the 9000's "official" value. But, we spent almost $3K over the past few months replacing major components: exhaust, cat, gas tank, etc etc etc.
My only line of reasoning is that a negligent young driver turned a very clean, well maintained 9000 CDE into an unsightly mess, which I don't think should be MY problem to clean up. The car is still drivable, but that's not the point.
Neither my son nor I have any place to work on the car - and it's 400+ miles away from me. We're both pretty handy, but doing minor electrical work on our Saabs isn't the same task as replacing a door...
The ceremonial "Visit of the Adjuster" comes next week, so we're on hold 'till then.
Thanks to all for their input!
