I have 2 9000 Aeros. As much of a greedy bastard as I might be, I've come to realize it may be time to sell one on to an appreciative Saab nut.

The question I have is which to sell, and which to keep. Both are '94s, both 5 speed manual transmission, and neither has TCS. One is blue with grey interior, the other white with black leather.

The white one has about 180k miles, while the blue one has 280k.

However, the blue one has a completely rebuilt motor (from the crank up) and a relatively new(ish) 5-speed with 110k out of a '96 Aero. The interior is generally good (though the leather could use a little conditioning), with a little cracking, but no major tears. I've put poly bushings and new brakes all around on the blue car, rebuilt the alternator and starter, and it has a brand new turbo. The major issue with the blue car is the paint. While the body is straight and good (no major rust), the hood is heavily pitted, as if the driver followed a leaky gravel truck for 10 miles. The hood at least will need to be stripped and re-painted. I also replaced the front bumper/spoiler with one from the '96 Aero. It's in surprisingly good shape (no major cracks), but it's black, so it'll need to be painted as well.

The white car, on the other hand, just had the timing chains done and I sent the head out to he machine shop for a valve job before putting it all back together. The transmission is also new-ish, having come out of a '95 Aero with 120k on the clock. Otherwise, the white car's body and interior are in really nice shape. The leather is soft, and only has some mild cracking on the driver's seat. It also has a couple of modifications, namely a Jak Stol 3" downpipe, high flow cat, and 2.5" exhaust out to the back. I also have a Genuine Saab front strut brace installed. Generally, this car runs as well as you can get a 20 year old car to run without taking it completely apart (like I did with the blue one).

So which, if you were me, would you sell? Which do you think is worth more?
