Pulling right after putting in transmission with LSD Posted by AdamB [Email] (#3) [Profile/Gallery] (more from AdamB) on Thu, 16 Oct 2014 08:03:36 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
So I got around to having the transmission from my old 9000 (with Quaife LSD) installed in my current 9000. There were no issues with it in the old car. The inner drivers were the same size, so it was a straight fit. I also had the front swaybar bushes replaced at the same time. The work was done by a well-reputed Saab indy, I've used in the past with fine results.
After getting the car back I noticed that when accelerating it pulls very noticeable to the right and that when going straight the wheel has to be turned a bit to the left. When engine braking it seems to straighten up. So I just had an alignment done, which unfortunately didn't change the behaviour one bit.
Now I'm thinking it might be something in the diff. that's causing this? Any other suggestions of possible causes?
