I used 185-65/15 Hakka 10s on my 88 and 89, have 195-65/15 Arctic Altimax on my 98 and 205-60/16 Contis on my 9-5. 98 is OK. Only one winter on the 9-5 but it doesn't claw through stuff like the older ones.
Can't argue with the weight issue though.
