Well I bought the material to make the tensioner tool. Then I started digging in one of the boxes of parts and found that I had already made one years ago. Oh well, I'll use the angle iron for something else. I also found a new tensioner shock, still in the wrapper. I also found a collection of used idler and tensioner pulleys...I never throw anything out. Since they were now siezed, I took this opportunity to throw them all out. I also found (3) serp belts. (2) are 6PK 2555 and (1) was a 6PK 2550. I wonder which is correct? I believe they were all bought for a 97 9000. Some from Eeuro, some from the parts store. At least the car sounds better now.
