I thought I either seized the transmission or blew up the motor. It went from a live screaming motor to off instantly and when trying to pop the clutch didn't work I thought it was cooked. When the motor shut off it was a violent slow like a person dose one hard brake check then coasting with a dead motor. I still had my foot in the gas after the popping of the clutch thinking the motor was alive (couldn't heat it the music was to loud) and then Boom thought I blew the muffler apart.
Starting it again brown smoke poured out the back of it for the first 10sec then it's fine. No fluid loss, not burning smoke, I kinda think it runs better than it did before it now will peak out in 1st and will continue pealing out in 2nd (I'm like Damm). I was about 10miles from the house and really beat the hell out of it to get some response looking for smoke, misfiring, strange shutter.... Nothing it's perfect. The car has a modified exsaust and when a person lets off the gas pedal while the cars ingear it makes a low growling rumble out the tail pipe and will slow without the brake at a good rate, after the backfire the low growling rumble is gone and it now has no excess slowing without the gas. It will coast like a normal car where as before it was like a slight brake pressure was being applied.
You don't think all this time there was a potato in the tail pipe? The entire 10 miles home after it rocked top notch performance.
