Brand new tested rebuilt alternator installed and I took a meter and measured at the starter 11.99 full power. I also ran a wire from battery + directly to little starter wire- No crank :( n a side note- There is big negative black wire ( i assumed ground) that had a loop and a bolt in it so I attached it to the transmission- does this go somewhere else perhaps? I remember the tranny usually has that half circle that bolts to the tranny mount-- any difference? Maybe its supposed to be attached to the engine or body? and second question if certain grounds behind the intake were attached to the housing would that be okay as a ground or do they need to be directly touching the block>?
