Coolant leak/ green on top of transmission/on ground

I have a small coolant leak and I can't find the source. I can see fresh green on the top of the transmission (5spd, 1993 B234R). It also creates a small wet spot on the pavement if the car stays parked for a couple days. The wet spot is towards the front driver side of the engine bay presumably from dripping off of the transmission. Actual coolant level only goes down about half way in the reservoir over the course of an oil change 3-5000k miles (synthtetic) I have seen a drop of coolant on one of the small hard lines that wraps around from the back of the motor under where the throttle body is but I can't see anything actually leaking at the TB. It seems to travel down this hard line from the back of the motor somewhere and end up dripping onto the transmission housing.
As I am typing this it occurred to me that maybe my NTC coolant temp sensor between the intake runners may not be snug?
Any other suggestions for places to look?
I have already cleaned, inspected and tighten hose clamps for the upper rad hose and the one that goes back to the heater core and they do not appear to be the source of the leak.
