Aero Seat Back Movement Question Posted by Bill Homer [Email] (#3427) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Bill Homer) on Fri, 13 Mar 2015 17:00:43 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
On a longish drive, my wife tried to recline the passenger seat back in my 1994 Aero, but only one side would go down; pushed the control button the other way and the same side will go up to a vertical position, but the fixed side doesn't move. Pushed the button back and it's now where it started, slightly reclined.
None of my previous SAABs has had power seats, so I'm new to this. I know that there are two plastic-sheathed cable that control the recline function, one on each side. Are there two motors connected to these, or one motor with some sort of transmission or mechanism? How is this supposed to work?
