You have to consider the length of time C900s have been on the road, predating 9000s, and also there's a tendency for them to be used hard all their lives, and kept going long after owners of other cars would have given up. In part due to their unique qualities and the good advice available. Also more of them equals more examples of problems cropping up.
When the cars were more plentiful in junkyards, it used to strike me, C900 interiors were worn hard, when 9000s, even plainly cars that deserved junking, seemed relatively clean and unworn inside.
i.e., the buttons for window up-down on 9000s almost always have the rough outline of a window showing on them still, in black paint, with white showing through only on the window lines. The 900s, almost all of 'em, just have a white dot there - - the black has been totally worn off.
And on balance 900 owners tend more towards hands-on DIYers. More on the 9000 site delegate to a garage. So for how-to on similar problems, a look at C900 site is always worthwhile.
