rear doors won't open

I left one of my 9000s sitting for a year. Inside/outside handles of rear doors do nothing. I think the latch mechanism (the thing that actually holds the door shut, on that post) is in need of lubrication. Problem is, I can;t get the door open to lubricate them. I'm not sure taking off the door panel would even give me access to that. Any tricks to get the door open?
Thanks,
Rob
