The passenger side one was still holding. So I pulled into the lot and went skiing.
Afterwards I tucked the strap out of the way and drove home (18 miles). Ordered two new straps and had my indy put them, on, as it was February, temps were 10-15 degrees and I had 3 inches of ice-snow on my driveway.
Point of the story: If one strap died, the other probably isn't far behind. DO both!
