There's a proliferation of Chinese aluminum radiators for many makes right now. I have one for another vehicle, and trust me they're a real blessing for vehicle that previously didn't have aftermarket support. Many are indeed from the same source though I can't comment on the Saab ones. Champion seems to be a big end-manufacturer. The quality of the one I have is great, almost on par with a custom $600+ radiator, all aluminum, TIG welded, billet fillet neck. I wouldn't hesitate to buy based on quality of material and work. They can have some quirks in fitment, needing different screws, etc., but it sounds like the 9k one is a pretty easy fit.
For our 9k though you can also get a nice quality Nissen unit for a good price that lasts a long time though so I would still be tempted to go that route(see thread below for more on that). I've had one in my car for a number of years, it's a gretat fit and doesn't cause problems.
