What I'm not clear on, is whether you can remove just the Master, and leave the vacuum unit in the car? I suspect the whole-shebang has to come out, and then get disassembled, but I don't know for sure (I've only done this as part of my TCS delete).
In the drivers footwell, there's a hitch pin that links the pedal to the booster unit, and there are four nuts that clamp the pedal bracket and the brake unit to either side of the firewall. On the firewall side, there's the hydraulic and electrical lines. You might want/need to pull the battery tray for room.
