I see no point in arguing with the dealership over how much they want to charge. After all, it is their shop, their employees, and their hydraulic press. If you don't want to buy your own hydraulic press, rig up a manual press with steel pipe, washers, nuts, and a threaded rod. I did my front bushings in the front lower control arm with this manual method and it worked fine. I got all the parts from the home supply store. The only downside to this one is that the threaded rod has to be fairly narrow to fit through the bushing, and it has a tendency to bend under load. Other bushings, like the bushing in the dogbone, can have a thicker threaded rod.
