Today, my Clarion radio died as I was driving home. Still have power to the head unit, no fuses are blown and the antenna still goes up and down. I can hear a very weak radio signal coming out the left front speaker but only when the radio is working. The separate Clarion CD player doesn't provide any noise but I can hear a pop when I change the equalizer settings. Could it be the amp under the front seat or is it the CD player? Anyone know if I can just run the head unit without the CD player? I'd rather not have to rewire an new stereo in the car but ......
