Pulling/dropping engine and tranny together Posted by skibumm100 [Email] (#3255) [Profile/Gallery] (more from skibumm100) on Fri, 18 Dec 2015 18:17:05 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I did a search and turned up Adam's step-by-step on how to pull the engine and tranny together out the top. I plan on removing the engine and 5-spd from my wrecked 97 Aero before sending it to the crusher. I have an engine hoist and I thought it might be easier to remove the subframes and use the engine hoist to pick up the front of the car high enough to slide the drivetrain out. Would it be easier to drop everything out the bottom rather than pulling it out the top? I need to make short work of this project. I will strip anything good off the car and have it picked up. Thanks!
