I also have a mini excavator....;-). A 2-post lift would be better. I just seemed like there's quite a bit of extra stuff that needs to be removed to get it out the top. Not too big of a deal. I'll try to pull it out the top as you guys suggest. It would be pretty sweet to drop it out the bottom onto a pallet and use a pallet jack to stash it in the back of the garage for now. Any space issues getting it out the top or is there plenty of clearance? Anyone have a weight estimate for the engine and 5-speed together?
