I found only one Saab dealer in the US that said they had two rubber dog-bone shift couplers. I called and asked if they were Saab OEM, they said they were. Turns out one had bad threads so they sent one. I paid dearly for it but since it was supposed to be OEM I was willing to pay. When it arrived it turns out it was Proparts that I could get at eEuro for 1/10 the price. I called and they said it was the one Saab provided to them. They said send it back since it wasn't what I expected and agreed I should get the same one at 1/10 the price and also reimbursed shipping. It's sounding like Proparts may become our only option for getting some parts if Saab is sourcing from them also.
