Unusual Electrical Issues during Startup Posted by dave24 [Email] (#457) [Profile/Gallery] (more from dave24) on Wed, 30 Dec 2015 08:08:48 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |

Recently, the car is showing some unusual electrical issues while engaging the starter. Here are the symptoms: First, it seems to crank for longer than it used to. While cranking, the key sometimes returns to the run location, ceasing the cranking action – even though it didn’t seem like I let off the key. Then this morning, I noticed that while cranking, the lights on the climate control were cycling on/off in sync with the cranking of the engine.
Once started, the car seems to run fine. I thought these might be symptoms of a bad ignition switch, but didn’t want to purchase one if that wasn’t the cause. Anyone else experienced these types of symptoms with your 9000? Any other thoughts?
