Hello,
I would look at the control module and see if is or has been covered with coolant from a leaking heater core. Either in the past causing corrosion inside or currently leaking. There was a recall years ago and a protective plastic cover was put over the control module. Unfortunately the heater core can leak directly on the control module. If it was my car I would disconnect the drivers bag before driving it again. Good Luck, Bernie
