Same symptom I'm seeing, the right front suspension area is dripping with engine oil. The engine was about 2 quarts low on oil (barely showed on dipstick) but fortunately there does not seem to be any damage. There are no bad noises so I think I caught it in time. This is a rusty, high-mileage car that I picked up cheap about 6 years ago, an engine failure would mean the end of it.
Looking at Eeuroparts it looks like they only carry a Proparts oil pump O-Ring that costs $1.24. I'm a little leery of Proparts, anyone know if this is a decent quality part? Eeuro also carries an Elring crank seal for $3.99, vs. $33.99 for "Genuine Saab." (I'm pretty sure Elring is the OEM, so will go with the less expensive part there.)
Since I also have a 1995 9000 that may well develop the same problem I'm going to order extras to keep on hand.
