I don't usually get much at AutoZone except fluids, detail supplies, bulbs and the occasional emergency windshield wiper. This past Saturday, my 9k started misfiring badly. I knew my DI cassette had about 100k miles and 13 years on it, so I swapped it with one from another Saab and the problem went away. I remembered reading here that sometimes AutoZone sold real Saab cassettes, so I checked their website and, amazingly, one local store had one in stock. Ran up to the store and picked it up including a 2 year warranty. The part was branded online as Duralast/Wells, but it's a real Saab part including the real SEM chip (part numbers/logos are on it - it's completely OEM). For $329.99, it was cheaper than Eeuro and the dealer, so this was a success story!
Just wanted to share...never happens that I can walk into a non-dealer parts counter late on a Saturday and grab a Saab specific part for my 21 year old Saab!
