1992 theft alarm

I'm parked downtown, 40km from home. Return to car, unlock driver's door, pull on handle, alarm goes off. Shouldn't happen, unless I unlock passenger door or trunk instead. Alarm always stops if I cycle a lock/unlock on driver's door, but not this time. I pop the hood, use the 10 mm wrench kept in the headlight relay box. Undo battery negative, siren stops. Tried a bunch of things. Tried to find siren, no luck. Locked/unlocked every lock repeatedly. Open and closed doors/trunk. Pushed/pulled rear doors' knobs. Nothing worked to stop the siren. With ignition on, all dash lights would illuminate, so presumably I had ignition. However, cranking was disabled. Turned off ignition, went under the hood used the connector where dealer plugs in test instrument, and it cranked! Over the years and many Saabs (since 1976) this connector has been proved most useful. It'll crank, turn on ignition, and read tach. So with rush hour rapidly approaching, reconnected battery, turned on ignition, jumped the appropriate batt to starter on the connector, and we have (loud) start. On the way home, several vehicles pulled over when I pulled in behind them with siren on and four-ways flashing. Great fun. At home, the web said yellow alarm module is behind glovebox above knee-shield. Not there on this car. Rather than pull the glovebox, pulled fuses instead. Fuse 19 radio/antenna/clock did the trick. I can drive again without the siren, but have no alarm - no big deal - I'm in Canada. Radio and clock? I have a phone. I'm guessing yellow alarm module - or a door sensor, and I don't know where those are. I can go to work tomorrow without waking the neighbourhood.
