It is my only vehicle. Honestly, I'm more confident it its reliability mechanically now than I have been at any time of my ownership since 147xxx in 2010.
That being said, I had to go through A SHIT TON of repairs including a low mileage motor, a rebuilt turbo, new sachs shocks on all 4, all the motor mounts, fuel pump, DI cassette (spare in trunk now), all the front end bushings, the list goes on.
I also had a weird thing happen when pulling out of my driveway way back in like 2011 when the AC compressor bracket snapped and threw/chewed the belt. And I also had the bracket where the upper motor mount bolts to the body completely rip off the body metal. This was most likely due to PO driving around for thousands of miles with a bad lower motor mount which caused excess shifting of the upper mount and bracket.
But now I have a lovely driving car that I don't owe any money on feel comfortable driving it any distance.
I am actually considering replacing the fenders and hood (have already from Dads parts car) and getting it painted. We'll see if that happens...
