I tried several LED things & gave up on them as being an immature technology for this application.
They were neither reliable nor bright enough for my standards.
By way of contrast, the xenon kits I've gotten are super bright, draw less power than the halogens did, and have served me very well.
The best quality kit I've used is this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009N5IW4Y/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B009N5IW4Y&linkCode=as2&tag=thesaabnetwork
I got 9006 (HB4?) in 4300K.
It is under $50 with free shipping and worth every penny IMO.
(BTW - in URLs, everything from where one sees /ref= is used for sites to track viewer's actions in some manner, so I always remove that stuff from links that I share with anyone else...)
Other xenon stuff I've tried has not been of that high quality.
A key indicator I've noticed is the builds of the ballasts; those in plastic cases with or without metal backing seem to fail very quickly, vs. those in all-metal well sealed enclosures which seem to last very well.
I got a kit with the 'xenLIGHT' brand which claimed to somehow fit both 9005 & 9006 sockets - it turned out to be utter junk fit only for the trash - hence the poor review & refund that shows if you see that one.
Another really junky set I tried was under the 'Apex' brand.
Also worthy of note with xenon capsules is that they tend to be somewhat generic in how they are made & numbered sometimes.
This can result in finding that the tubes are too long to fit into some fixtures (as happened with the 1st H3 set I got...).
All things considered this is still the very best single upgrade I've made to my car & I can only highly recommend it as a result of the drastic improvements in lighting that it has given me.
(Of course YMMV !!)
Best Wishes to All !!
