98 CSE manual turbo 110k mi., my first 9000(luv it), been a 900 driver since 89 so i'm on learning curve here! Indie just installed ac comp and replaced valve cover to stop only leak. He discovered plugs were good except they weren't torqued in enough so they were leaking slightly. Car runs great now except,,,,under heavy accel mainly in 2nd and 3rd, the engine has a split second cut out, as if the over boost or over rev is cutting in and out. I understand this engine has adaptive nature to it, since plugs aren't leaking now, is the computer freaking? Or did the previous owner mask a problem by not torquing the plugs in properly, and if so why?? Thanks for your time and brain power!
