Vacuum Line Posted by Bill Homer [Email] (#3427) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Bill Homer) on Wed, 12 Jul 2017 09:01:33 In Reply to: Making progess but starving for fuel, mgw, Wed, 12 Jul 2017 07:00:30 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
If you have any cracked or missing vacuum lines, the car is not going to run properly - check all of them, particularly the ones out of sight in back of the engine, where the "T" junction for the boost gauge is connected and near the bypass valve on the front intake tubes. Ten feet of new vacuum hose will replace all of it, unless it's a TCS car.
Fuel regulator can be checked by sucking on a vacuum line attached to the port; if it doesn't hold vacuum, it's dead.
