The nut holding up the older gas tank strap is hopelessly rusted solid, and that's the side that needs to be dropped down to get a new brake line through. (I did determine that the rusted line is going to the left side rear caliper.)
Guess I'll keep spraying Kroil on this thing for several days and see if it can be persuaded loose. I don't want to snap the bolt since that will really be a world of hurt. (Normally I'd apply heat but this seems way too close to the gas tank to be using a torch.)
That's life in the Northeast for older cars...
