After 9000, what next?

I have a '95 manual Aero whose ABS pump is dying. Unfortunately, since it's a TCS car, the pump did double duty as the power brake booster, and now I'm driving around with rock-hard brakes with no power assist. Given it's a New England car with 246k miles, the rust monster is slowly making its way through the underside, so it's not worth fixing. Where do I go next? I'm considering a 9-3 Aero Sportcombi, but those are incredibly hard to find with a manual, and they were hit hard with the GM curse. I can't stand modern Volvos, having driven a few and been unimpressed, and I'm not willing to go German due to their tendency to fall apart post-warranty.
